Am 11. Juli 2023 von 9 bis 17 Uhr findet die nächste Hochschulwahl statt und bis zum 27. Juni könnt ihr noch die Briefwahl beantragen.

Bei der HS-Wahl wählt ihr die direkten Vertreter jeder Fachschaft. Ihr legitimiert damit unsere Stimme in allen möglichen Räten, Ausschüssen und Kommissionen. Ohne eure Stimme dürften wir dort gar nicht abstimmen.

Nur um die Wichtigsten zu nennen: Wir sitzen unter anderem in Berufungskommisionen, die darüber entscheiden welche neuen Dozenten eingestellt werden. Außerdem arbeiten wir beim QM-Zirkel mit, der die Evaluierungen der einzelnen Vorlesungen auswertet und daraufhin versucht die Qualität der Lehre zu verbessern. In den Studienzuschusskommissionen wird zusammen mit unseren Vertretern entschieden, wohin Studiengelder fließen oder wofür sie eingesetzt werden.

Ihr seht also wir sitzen an vielen wichtigen Stellen und vertreten so die Interesse der Studierenden. Zudem agieren wir standortübergreifend und realisieren Projekte wie die StudiTUM-Häuser.

The next university election will take place on 11 July 2023 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and you can still apply for a postal vote until 27 June.

In the election, you elect the direct representatives of each student council. This legitimises our voice in all kinds of councils, committees and commissions. Without your vote, we would not be allowed to vote there.

Just to name the most important ones: Among other things, we sit on appointment committees that decide which new lecturers are hired. We also work in the QM circle, which evaluates the individual lectures and then tries to improve the quality of teaching. In the financial study grant committees, we decide, together with our representatives, where study funds are to go or what they are to be used for.
So you see, we sit in many important places and represent the interests of the students. In addition, we act across all locations and realise projects such as the StudiTUM houses.

If you are unsure whether you will be on campus on election day, we recommend that you simply apply for a postal vote. This is very easy to do on TUMOnline.

To do so, open the tab "Documents" > under "Election notification and application for postal vote" > "Apply for an postal vote" > enter your address > Done!
